The photos here are not carefully styled - just trying to get a feel for how these items look and fit.
The tiered dress from the Loft is surprisingly nice (especially at half price) - lined, with nicely finished edges. Based on the reviews, I got size small - just as the reviewers said, the armholes are huge even in this size so it would have to be worn with a jacket or a second base-type camisole. Nice camouflaging in the tummy area. Not sure about the color - the "calypso" turned out to be fairly bright orangey-red, and the black and ivory dress is still on backorder.
The green dress is definitely going back but I figured I should post a photo in case it might work for someone less apple-shaped than me. Also nicely lined, the neckline is more work-appropriate, this is size M.
GAP chambray blazer - I really like it but it looks a bit baggy in the photos. I like that it is lightweight and semi-casual. The ponte-knit blazers are too heavy for me to wear to work in the summer but this one is lighter. This is size 8; I also have size 10 and will need to try it but I think it may be too big.
The flats from Corso Como are fun and comfortable. Does the round toe look a bit dated?
Thanks for looking!
