K/R: EF top and Aquatilia booties

Though I'm doing a February shopping fast, I allowed myself to get HEWIs if they turned up. That's what these are but should one or both go back?
1-3: HEWI mid to light grey booties, prefer perforated. These are Aquatilia and are very comfortable even with the heel. They feel stable and the ankle strap adjusts to help them fit at the ankle. What do you think? They are still pricey at over 50% off but worth it if you think that they are as gorgeous as I think they are. I am wearing them in some of the next photos with EF bone outfit. They are really just a little bit darker than the bone ( a grayish white).
4-10: HEWI is a bone warm top to extend season of skirt and pants and look a bit more casual than a jacket. This one was a major markdown but a petite large. 4/5 is the top alone. 6-8 is over a layered top that I own. 9 is to show the texture. 10 is with EF bone pants. I think the top would also work with off white jeans. Do I have sales blinders on? It is a sort of short boxy fit but is it too big? It looks JFE to my eye but I don't trust myself with judging fit like this.
I would love to know your thoughts on the booties and top. Are they keepers or destined to be returned and the hunt continued?

Both are keepers in my opinion. Love #6,7,8 with the added top but it looks good by itself, too

I love the grey boots. If they feel good, that's half of it. I bought a pair of Aquatalia boots this fall. They were on sale, yet still expensive. I was willing to pay only because I wanted dressy waterproof boots. Are these waterproof? If not, then I'm not sure about the wisdom of spending a fortune. I've been seeing more grey boots lately. A couple years ago I bought them all because I thought, "OMG, this is the last pair!" I'm starting to realize there's no need to panic.

Thank you, Bonnie, Jill, JAileen and UmmLila. JAileen, these booties are waterproof which is a big plus. I have tried on lots of grey booties and the sides usually rub my ankle bone in a painful way. These do not do that. I still need to try some that Angie pointed out to me.

If the boots are comfortable, DO NOT send them back! They are great.

I like textured tops because they add interest to a fairly plain piece. I especially like the top over the layered top. Tops like this are very useful where I live--could be worn all year around. So, keep.

The booties are definitely keepers. I'm on the fence about the top because it's almost a bit boxy looking on you from some of the angles (which might just be the angles fault) but I think it is a nice top and it looks good with those slim trousers so if you love it go for it because it's really pretty and I do love the texture

JAileen, Columbine, MsMaven, Gradfashionista and Cynthia, thank you for your helpful comments. I think the EF top is supposed to be boxy but does boxy work for me? I have another of her boxy tops that is lighter weight and falls against the body more.

Go for it!
Most EF body tops do not work for me even though I need some such items for skirts. Something about the cut and my posture- the front bottom sticks out like a tent.
This on on you does not do that, but falls pretty straight down in front/ though I hear you that some drape even more closely.

Unfrumped, I am tempted to wash the top and put it in the dryer on delicate. The fabric is a linen and cotton blend and thick but very soft.

Shevia, Elizabeth, and Lisa, I appreciate your input and help with this decision. I am thrilled to get your ok to cross a couple of HEWIs off my list. Elizabeth, the whole layered outfit is EF in "bone". I have collected some pieces that work together but are a bit too dressy for my life style and all were summery.
