Very different looks, indeed. I like both of these jackets a lot, but I do have (and like) a lot of black in my closet, and only one summer linen jacket in light grey, so am at this point leaning toward the grey, yet not completely decided. The black Coup jacket is definitely higher drama factor.

Love the Coup jacket. And while the black is definitely MORE dramatic, I like the grey just as much. Also, somehow I feel that this grey will become your go-to for daytime wear - be it smart casual or even dressy.

If you're keen on keeping the Glass jacket (and I think you should coz it looks awesome), the grey Coup is a good choice.

Of course, if it was me, I wouldn't think twice before buying both in black!!! But if you aren't 100% sure you want so much black in your winter wardrobe, pick the grey. It looks FABULOUS on you.

I love the blazer and prefer it in the 6.

I have a preference for the black! I love it! I usually hate black so that's saying something right? I think it looks great on you. It's not something I typically see, so I think it's maybe a bit more special than the grey. The grey is also gorgeous, and looks as though it fits you perfectly. However, the black has more snap. That's my new word today, Snap!

It's a great choice to have!
What outfits do you see as ones you want to spend time in; wardrobe holes or HEWIs or check closet for overlap or things that could sub for the new thing.
I have 2 different targets-- items that I just think look wow AND I have at least some occasions that need to be covered by said outfits; and very versatile items that I can grab without intense review of proportions, color matching.

I love the coup jacket. Very stylish and I think you dress it up or down. How are the armholes? After reading Angie's post the other day about strange sizing I realized I'm not the only one who notices tops with really small armholes. That's my pet peeve.

YAY.

The grey jacket is SO much better.
