Who knew they made dresses like my favorite wrap tops?!?

This is a true wrap dress and I am wearing a cami under it as it is required! Couple of things:

While I like the concept of the wrap dress, I am not sure that this one was meant to be mine. It does not hang evenly in the front, and with the pattern, I think it looks off.

Not sure this material is all that flattering for me. I reserve Spanx for special occassions, and work is not a special occassion!

Not sure I like a true wrap dress. I am wondering if I should wait for a faux wrap one. It is fine when standing, but sitting is, well, I wish I had a blanket for over my lap!

I really like it on you! Would it help to pin the skirt so you don't have to fidget when you sit? The hem looks fine in the picture. You have to feel comfortable in it though, otherwise you will not wear it. I hope it works out. You have a nice figure:)

The only tweak I might suggest is shortening the sleeves to elbow length.

I think this looks fantastic on you Thistle - it hugs and drapes in all the right places IMO. But as Shiny points out, YOU need to be comfortable in it.

I know what you mean I can't be bothered adjusting them all the time - I only wear mine with legging or pants. It's a great look for you though I'd try to find a faux one, it might work better.

Gasp! That is awesome! If it gaps - haul out the cami again, or do you mean gap at the bottom? Hmmmm. Well, just wear a pretty slip.

That is gorgeous on you, Thistle! Personally, I have to go with the faux. Fretting about a mishap is too much stress.

Love the look on you, Thistle. I have found that a print makes a huge difference in jersey dresses. The print obscures the little "bumps and bits" that we wish to obscure. Can't wait to see the one on order.

So glad that you're achieving figure flattery by following, not obscuring the lines of your body! Not tight. Just Right!

With some wrap dresses, you can (with a little help from a seamstress) turn them into faux wraps, you know?

This is so WOW on you....you must keep this dress, *and* order the chain print dress from Michael Kors as well.

In my view, these are three season dresses - and they work beautifully almost year-round, except maybe the height of summer. They can be winterized and yet still look fabulous in fall and spring as well.

You've done very, very well here! You look amazing in this dress. Keep the one you've posted, and I hope you order the other one you were mentioning as well (chain print).

Another idea Thistle. Since the 2 dresses under discussion have a similar print, what about a different color. I was online at Lands End yesterday and they had 3/4 sleeve ponte faux wrap dresses on sale for $29.99. Not sure whats available re sizes/colours but after seeing your red skirt the other day I think a red dress would look fab on you.

I wear a half slip with mine. I have had so many incidents with wrap dresses over the years, I don't take chances. Always a cami and a slip.
