So I don't really have any lighter weight toppers except cardigans. For example I wore various versions this week of the long pretty warm Loft wool cardigan in #1
#2 DKNYC drapey vest thing. I like this. Cons are dry clean only but I very rarely need to clean toppers. Polyester, but I tend to run cold in a cool climate.
#3 XCVI cotton skirt and cotton olive jacket. Not sure, I like the idea of the skirt, but the bunchiness might just read as awkward rather than avant garde. The jacket is comfortable and light but the shorter sleeves make it difficult to wear over longer sleeves.
#4-6 Express blazer. I don't own a blazer - and it will mostly get worn in outfits that are this casual. I know less than nothing about blazers, but am not sure if it makes sense to wait to find another long one that curves in slightly at the waist (I have coats that fill this role though). The behind view tells me I need to for sure wear longer tailed tunics if I wear leggings with it.
I think I'm a rectangle mostly from the front but a pear from the side and back -- so any advice about the shape of the blazer is most welcome.
What would you keep, and what pass on?
