Our own Shevia noticed that I'd lost my cheap knock-off Tom Ford sunglasses and sent me a pair she owned! Can you even imagine? I am beyond excited, especially because the sun is out! They are fantastic - Shevia, you are super-fab and I can't thank you enough. What an amazing thing to do!

I found the R13s on ebay and after a huge amount of agonizing over size, price (even on ebay they were not cheap!) and so on, I snapped. Thanks to Denise, the sizing is right, although they will need to be hemmed if they are a keep.

Now, in light of our conversations on frumpiness, these could be right up there, but I'd love some honest opinions. I can't return them (!) but I am sure I can sell them and recover most of my $.

I am going to have to style them with more fitted/shorter tops and jackets. Denise has them in black, which is obviously less casual than denim (but I feared the stiffness factor with the waxed, as well as the dog hair!). More photos downthread. And here they are on, er, Brandy:
