So the watch was on sale and I had a gift card which paid for part of it. I like big watches, but I'm wondering if it's too big.
For reference #1 is my current rose gold Michael Kors watch.
#2-#3 is the Nixon watch

#4-#5 are Fiorentini and Baker boots from Barneys, they were also on sale.

#4 is pulled up, and #5 is scrunched down. I have two other boots from this brand and they are comfortable. But I also have lots of black boots. Are the strips different enough to make it different.

Only want to keep if they are killers.

I guess big watches are a trend now. I like your first watch but #2 seems so heavy and bulky. That's just me though.

Hmm...I like big watches, but I prefer to keep the case smaller than my wrist, if that makes sense. So no part of the case actually obscures the sides my wrist. So to my eye, the black watch seems humongous. But I think if anyone can pull it off, it's you. Sorry, I know that's not a lot of help. The boots are nice, but not killer to me. I prefer your animal print moto boots (I LOVE those).

I love your current watch; the Nixon seems overpowering, IMHO.

I do like your new boots, but I'm not familiar enough with your current boot collection to say whether they fill a hole.....like Ana, though, I think these are not the same killer, amazing vibe as your animal moto boots....

I love your rose gold watch. In general, I like the vibe of the black and gold watch, but agree with the others that it's on the big side.

The boots are cool. How do they measure up to your other boots?

Your old watch is much nicer than the new one in my eyes - do not downgrade!

The boots are very cool, but again I think you have better pieces (the leopard print moto ones!) that fulfill the same function.

I say return both. You're fab and can do better.

Anna, I LOVE big watches but I agree with the others that it seems to over power you. I think that it is the type of watch that is THE piece in an outfit. I could see someone in a t shirt and jeans and boots and nothing else but the watch. This is not your style, you like print and great accessories. So I say let it go.

The boots are an absolute 10 !

I really like how the rose gold watch goes with your skin tone. The new watch is so big and so dark I don't think it looks killer. Maybe if it were big or dark not both. Does it come in a lighter color too?

The boots are cool but I agree with Isis, they are no contest compared to the animal moto boot which are killer.

I would have been saying 'keep' for the boots if you hadn't just gotten those killer leopard boots! In that you say you already have black boots, then I vote return and wait for some other killer boots. . .

Ok after trying on the watch again I agree it's just too big. Funny thing, there was an article in Sunday's New York Times had article about massive watches.
Still debating the boots.
My sales person in Via C tried to get in this dress.

Yeah, I think for the Nixon watch it has more to do with the color than the size. The combo of both is overpowering, but you can definitely pull off the size.

I love F&B boots in general, and those are awesome! But I'd only get them if they are substantially different from others in your boot wardrobe, since you have a lot of awesome boots.

I love me some woven boots, and I know you're trying to get more flat boots in the game because of your hip. I like these best pulled up; not sure about scrunched. It seems like scrunching possibly makes the strips look messy instead of intricate. Are your other black boots heeled?

I love these boots! However, your question was 'are they different enough?' I would pose a counter question. Can you put together an outfit that these boots would change the vibe of the overall ensemble? If you can then, yes. If not then, no.

Am I the only one who thinks the nixon watch is KILLER, a 10??

Yes it's big but that is the point and the way it sits so perfectly on your wrist makes it work. Also the black is recessive so takes away from the size. And since there's no glare like on the MK watch, that also makes it not so clunky to my eye.

Boots are a little redundant. So I'm on the fence, also I can't really tell without seeing them styled in an outfit.

I think the large black watch is interesting but I like the Mk that you have better. The boots aren't as nice as other boots you already have.
Now for the bummer part. IMO the silk and leather dress, I don't like the design of it. I don't think the large sleeves are attractive.

I was hesitant to comment until I read Cocolion's comment feeling I must not be seeing what everyone else was seeing lol. I love the watch!! Your rose gold watch is also stunning but the Nixon watch is such a statement piece. I find it very attractive and given you seem to streamlining your style a little I think this could work in your wardrobe.

I love that watch. My only concern is that it sticks out a little bit past your wrist and up a bit, which means it may get banged. If you're more coordinated than I am, then go for it!

Iffy on the boots. I like F-Bs but those aren't the sleekest. Do they make you feel like a rock star? If not, pass. If yes, keep.

I love the oversized drama of a Nixon watch. I think their styles rock. Totally different look than the rose gold Kors, which I also love. I like the boots in the first photo, but am less drawn to the slouchiness seen in the second. Bear in mind, though, this is my personal bias against slouch. I like their distinctiveness, though. LOVE the watch.
