Keep or return: too boring? or versatile basics?

Thanks for all of your recent feedback re: dresses and tops. Here are a couple more summer tops that I'm wondering about (I'm still a bit desperate for summer tops).

#1: button-tab Target chambray blouse (doesn't come in petite - maybe it's too long?)

#2: button-tab BR camp shirt

#3: BR purple silk blouse - I'm not sure I'm loving the straight bottom

I have that Target shirt and I love it! I vote "keep!" (And I'm totally copying that whole look if it's warm enough this weekend!)

Like the second top, too. The pattern is great and it seems to flatter your figure. Are you happy with the neckline?

And I actually really like the third one, too! I think the straight hem with the buttons stopping well north of the bottom is a nice, different look!

I love the first two! And your whole outfits I think those are great basics. There's something about the third one that I'm not sure about...but I might like it tucked in or with lower contrast pants.

I like the chambray top; I have the same one and it's about as long on me as well but I kind of like the longer length. Makes it more relaxed to me, but not sure if that's what you're going for. In fact the whole outfit #1/2 is awesome and makes me wish I had white clams so I could also copy! Top #2's print seems sweet, I'm not sure of your preferences for pattern so can't advise there but the shirt looks like it fits you well. I quite like the third top, looks especially crisp with your white skinnies! Would also look very elegant with some daintier strappy sandals.

I love the first two as casual wovens. The chambray one looks easy and stylish--especially with those clams. The second top fits beautifully and I like the sweet print. I bet it would look great with your Target clams. The last top definitely looks more dressy and I like it with the skinnies. It has a kind of Jonesy vibe to my eye (meaning I like it.)

I wasn't so sure about #1, but maybe the smaller size Angie suggested would give it a fit closer to #2?

I actually like #3, but afer Angie's comment and a good second look, it just doesn't flatter like #2. I do like the fabric and color, did you try it tucked into a skirt? That isn't what it is intended for though. . .

Thanks, everyone. The chambray shirt is only available online in L/XL (and I never saw it in XS at the store), so I'll have to think about that one. I think I'll go with my instincts on the purple blouse and return - especially since Angie agreed! And I'll keep #2, as it fits well and will be a good summer top.

Sarah, I agree that the purple blouse does not have the best cut. However, I wanted to say that I think the color is very flattering on you. If you return the shirt, definitely keep an eye out for more in that color. If you don't return the shirt, try it tucked in.

I love the first two. LOVE. I want to love the third one as it is the kind of style I veer toward, but something about the cut is making it look dated.
