Keep or return - summer dresses. Are any of these a 10?

I'm getting pickier so I'm not sure I'm keeping any of these dresses - I'm holding out for something really good now.

1. I already have a blue and white print dress, though...
2. This is over-exposed, but looks as if it washes me out (less IRL).It's a wrap dress, which I find a bit scary (although plenty of overlap). Better length than the others?
3. This is the smaller size
4. As 3 but in a bigger size. My bra strap shows under the arm. It does on one side only in the smaller size.

They were all on sale from Hobbs (thanks Julie for the Hobbs outlet tip) and came beautifully wrapped in tissue paper. Aaaah)

I really like #2- I think it's got very flattering shape and length. Keep!

IMO, 1 and 3/4 are too long and look bottom heavy. I can't tell a real difference between the sizes in 3 and 4, but I do really like the pattern and colors. I say return 1, and if you love 3/4 it would look better hemmed.

I love these dresses--great prints! #2 looks like a great fit and length, and I can see it looking really cute with some red sandals. #1 and #3/4 are great prints, but less flattering in shape than #2. I'm terrible with length, but I am pretty sure they are too long. I'm not certain how much of a difference shortening them will make in terms of figure flattery, but I would definitely try pinning them up to see. As they are, I do think they look a bit bottom-heavy.

I love 1 and 2 the best. The wrap dress is adorable and perfect in length. I could see that being a spring and summer staple. #1 is just divine on you, Polly. The color, pattern, deeper V--really lovely. Are 1 and 3 the same dress--just different prints?

ETA: Did you get a new camera? These pics are great : )

#2 looks really cute on you. Defintely a keeper. Try it with a red cami underneath! #1 is a great print, but it looks stiff. The print on #3 & 4 looks overwhelming on you.

Keep! They are lovely. I agree with the others about hemming 1 and 3. if they hit you right above the knee, they would be great!

I love dress #2 it is a great fit and agree would look great with red sandals. It might look good with a red cami too under the dress. I like the color in #3 but it might be too long or could be angle. Do you have on heelsi #3. Number #1 is not my favorite.

You have a cute shape and very nice upper arms (I am so envious!) and I really liked the wrap dress because of the shape. So I vote to keep it, unless you are not fond of the print.

The other dresses are too long, and the prints are not pleasing to my eye, especially #3-4...the scale of the print seems too big for your frame. In addition, I feel the bold colors are almost overwhelming to your more delicate coloring, but that may just be a personal preference of mine.

I think they're all keepers! I particularly love the blue and white one - so crisp! As far as sizing, from what I can see the smaller dress seems better. It's hard to see everything due to the print, but looking at the waistline the smaller size seems more flattering.

I love summer dresses - lucky you to have a head start!

I love number 2, but the others seem as if they might be too long for you. Would you wear with flats or heels? They might work with some high heels if you are into that.

I LOVE # 2. I agree that the others seem to overwhelm you. The skirts seem too big.

I love dress #2. The rest of the dresses are too long and drag you down a bit. Can they be hemmed?

KG - yes, 1 and 3/4 are the same dress. Should have said.
It's the same camera, but I've finally found a more intelligent place to take the pics where there is natural light. Thanks for noticing the difference! I know my pics have been fairly wretched in the past...

Interesting comments about the dresses. 2 seems to be finding most favour! I think the others would have to be shortened. Interesting comments about the patterns too. I'm going to keep thinking. Keep the ideas coming!

If you hem #3 to be just above your knee, I think it would be a 10. Same with #1. I'm not as smitten with #2 as everyone else, but I think it's just that I don't care for the print as much as in the other cases.

I think that the longer dresses look fresh, new, fabulous and ON TREND. I love them on you Polly. LOVE!!! So elegant and sophisticated - yet fun and approachable. You could probably even add a skinny belt. (Remember that Polly isn't wearing shoes yet, ladies).

It's dress #2 that is my least favourite. You had mentioned that you need longer skirts for when you teach on the piano, Polly - Voila :). You look beautiful and those long dresses are 10's in my book.

Yeah, I like the longer length on you but I think they need a slight heel on whatever shoe you decide to wear with them.

Oh Angie! Just when I was getting used to the idea of shorter skirts/dresses too! You do keep us on our toes! (wouldn't have it any other way...).

I'm going to try them on again and try to see it. I was going to do that anyway. Rather like the idea of being so on trend.

The rather fun news is that the longer dresses together cost about the same as the wrap dress so I could consider keeping both...

Oooo, I was so excited by the tissue paper and packaging too. It felt like my birthday.

It's easy to say once Angie has dropped her bombshell but look 1 & 3 are favourites and are more in keeping with my personal style. The dresses look more elegant than 2. With shoes and a necklace you will look amazing.

I like all the dresses. For the last dress, I prefer the smaller size if it's not too tight. But can I say, OT here, that the moldings behind you are beautiful! *sigh*

F-O-A-T - we're very fortunate to be living in this house for now. Wish it was ours!

I've tried on 1 and 3 again and feel fab in them. I added shoes and a denim jacket to 3 and it looked rather fab... Now thinking 'on trend' they feel elegant.

And no there aren't pics because they looked rubbish! I've got to get the pics sorted so might get a tripod.

Julie - both sizes feel the same to me. 1 and 4 are size 14, 3 is a 12. Normally this fit of dress I'm a 12 in but the 14s feel fine. The 12 is better under the arms though - my bra shows in the 14 but think it will be worth having it altered.

I like the print in 3/4 the most but I am drawn to bolder patterns/colours.

The wrap dress in 2 didn't do it for me at all & I normally love wrap dresses. Maybe with a different belt rather than the matching material?

I LOVE #2 on you; you must keep it. It is so flattering, it really shows off your tiny waist and slim figure.

#1 is a return, it is a cut that is designed for a different figure (not mine I know!)

The last dress is cute, I'm on the fence with this one. I think it is flattering but needs to be shortened. Could you pin it up and show us? I think a length similar to #2 would look nice. I do think the colors really suit you. I feel the smaller size looks better than the bigger size.
