Keep or return: All Saints dress, AG straight/skinnies

Here's the first of my All Saints haul, ordered before I went SYC It's the Cayatte dress--very All Saints with asymmetrical hems and deconstructed design. The fabric is a lightweight cotton that is tie-dyed. Pretty dramatic, but I think it suits my style. There's a lot of fabric here though, and I don't want to look like I am drowning!

I've also been on the search for non-denim pants, and found these AG Edie mid-rise pants at Anthro on sale (in December). I love the rise on these, and the fabric is so soft and comfy. How does the fit look to you all? Would you consider these a straight or skinny pant? AG calls them straight skinnies

I wish I could see the dress on you better- the picture is too dark.( Big All Saints fan here.)
It might be seen better if taken from further away.
It looks like it might be a bit too much fabric but I really cannot tell. The pants look great!
AJ is right they are straight skinnies.

I like the dress a lot, based on the website photo and how I think it is supposed to fit. Is it flowy or stiff? Nice skinnies and good color!

Jean -- Sorry for the poor photos; it's really hard to photograph and I don't have a tripod/selftimer setup. Good to hear the pants look good

View the runway video -- gives a good idea of how the dress looks in motion. It basically fits me like it does the model, except I am shorter of course!
The fabric itself is a crisp woven, but it's so thin that it's kind of flowy yet has some structure.

Hmm, I find it telling that one of the still shots and the runway shot uses a jacket. To me that implies covering up a not so great fit. Even the stand alone shot has the model at at angle.

The dress looks like too much fabric for tiny you. The pants are great non jean skinny alternatives.

From what I can see, I like the dress. The style is very you--it's voluminous but I like that it's short enough that you can see some leg. I think it's a fun piece. Pants look good too. I'd say they are keepers!

Seems like the dress is one of those pieces that one likes or doesn't like! It's so hard to photograph and looks different in motion. I'll try to get a better photo up

The pants OTOH are a go! Good thing; they're sooo comfy!

Love the pants! I like the dress, but am not sure if it is not too much material for the tiny you. Any chances you could take more photos?

The tie-dye pattern of the dress is so subtle and beautiful, I love that about it for sure. The pants are gorgeous and they sound very comfy.
