Here are a bunch of things I'm having trouble deciding about.

1-3: black skirt - does the fit look OK? I would never leave the house in just this top obviously (that back view ...).

4-5: black dress - I like this in the abstract, but think it should probably be worn by someone boyish and long-legged

6-7: orange dress - not sure this fits right

8-10: tweed jacket - might be too much for me, I am kind of a classic girl

11: patterned shirt

12-13: poofy blue shirt

14: a silhouette I often wear, just for comparison

The boots are new and have not yet left the house, so let me know if they look too big! Thanks to anyone who got to the end of this post!

on first pass through, the items that didn't get my love were 4/5, 11 and 12. Have you tried wearing dress 4/5 over skinnies?

I like the black skirt. I like the tweed jacket sihouette on you. Boots look okay to me, not seeing where they're supposed to be too big.

I'm not really feeling 4 and 5 on you, but it may look better to me with dark tights and maybe darker boots. I like the black skirt on you. 8-10 also seem to overwhelm you ... maybe with pants instead of a skirt.
You look AMAZING in 14 - love that on you! You know how to dress your body.

1-3 Keep. Lovely, classic (thumbs up), huge potential.
4-5 I'd Keep and wear as tunic over skinnies, or as a dress with some fun tights.
6-7 The fit seems OK to me but I must confess I'd be able to assess it better if you had different footwear. The dress looks like light summery piece.
8-10 I'd love that jacket hanging in my wardrobe I to am a classic girl, but this would be one great statement piece. But it looks a bit big on you, so I vote pass.
11. A bit boxy, I'd pass.
12-13. Pass, doesn't do you any favors.
14. I LOVE your 'standard' silhouette.

Being completely honest and newly picky, the only thing I love completely is the black skirt. I adore the tweed jacket but it looks too big, or maybe it's just the way you're standing - I stand like that (defiant pose!) when I want things to fit that don't quite work. I can also see 4-5 working for you, but #14 is such a knockout that it doesn't seem as fab by comparison.

SORRY! You have a great shape - your shoulders look like mine but the rest of you also looks toned, unlike me.

#1: I think the skirt fits well; if you don't already have another black pencil skirt, definitely keep! Keep!

#2: I actually really like this. Are you comfortable with the length? Try it with some leggings or tights and some pumps or booties to look super edgy and make your legs look long! Or you can belt and wear as a tunic with skinny jeans. Keep if you're ok with the length.

#6: I don't like the fit on you, it looks kinda wrinkly and... saggy for lack of a better word? Definitely doesn't do your figure justice! Purge!

#8: I feel like its really fussy. Even with only the skirt and boots, which are simple pieces, I'm not loving the bulkiness of the fabric combined with the complicated construction. I would purge.

#11: I'm not feeling 11-- I think its the loose fit coupled with the large pattern. It feels like too much to me. I would purge.

#12: Can you try this tucked into the skirt? I feel like its quite voluminous, so untucked I think it requires a very sleek bottom, like skinny jeans? Undecided-- depends on what it looks like tucked in!

First, I love the boots! The color bookends your hair beautifully and the fit looks fine. Are they comfortable?
Of the rest, I'd keep the black skirt (1-3), maybe the black dress (4-5) to wear as a tunic, and possibly the tweed jacket (8-10) but only if you feel fabulous wearing it. Have you tried wearing it with jeans? You look wonderful in #14. BTW, I love cinnamon ferns but have yet to get one to grow.

Umm, I really like the black skirt and tweed jacket on you! The black skirt seems to fit very nicely. The jacket does too, but I really like the All Saints vibe and unusual fabric. I like these pieces together too!

The boots look pretty darn good in fit. I like the heel height, the color, and the classic styling.

Black dress --not as flattering to my eye, and hard to wear as tunic in that it's already black
Orange dress - pretty color but can't visualize it well without more summer stylin' - sorry!
Patterned blouse - love the bold pattern (very Diane von Furstenberg-ish), would like to see this tucked into a skirt. Otherwise it's pretty big on you. . .
Poofy blue shirt - love the color, but this seems too poofy and too short and a little inconsistent with your standard silhouette (which BTW is very flattering and stylish!)

Love the skirt in #1-3. The dress in #4/5 is OK (and is waist surrendering), but looks a bit short; could look nice over skinny jeans. Not sure on #6/7, is it ruched along the buttons? The jacket in #8-10 is awesome, but looks like it's a size or two too large on you. Patterned shirt in #11 is OK, shirt in #12-13 I vote purge. Your often-worn silhouette in #14 is lovely!

The forum has spoken! Thank you guys! I will keep the skirt, since everyone seems to think this isn't too tight, and I do not own another pencil skirt of any other color.
Everything else is getting purged.

This is useful. The black skirt is a remnant from a long-ago interview suit, everything else was bought on deep discount. Apparently my deep discount impulse buys do not go well.

Thanks again! And Alaskagirl - I refuse to believe you aren't buff - I have seen pictures of your legs.

I think the skirt in #1 is will be ok with a jacket or top over it. From the side it looks to flatten out your derriere a bit. #4-5 seems like it's too baggy a silhouette for your figure.
#6-7 looks like a possibility for summer, with sandals. #8 is a very interesting jacket, but at least one size too big for you. #11 - I like the colours, but wonder if it would look better tucked in. #12 - colour is great but again, it's so baggy. The boots, however, look GREAT!
