Jumping on the BF wagon

I got my BF's from Gap today. #1-3 are size 2 and #4-6 are size 4. I have noticed that they fit me a little snugger than other YLF'ers but size 4 is quite loose from the waist. I am thinking it is probably my extremely pear shaped body. What do you guys think?
Last 4 pics are the famous academy blazer. It is a teeny bit snug in the shoulders but other than that I like the fit. Also, like Angie mentioned the fabric is really good quality. I would really like your honest feed back on these?

I like the larger BF jeans on you, I would even go larger, but I like mine to be really baggy!

I like the academy blazer on you, the yellow and grey is really nice. I think it fits you better than it does me, you still have a waist when you wear yours.

Also, looking closely at the pics now, aren't the pockets on these BF jeans placed too low?

Oh, I am size 8.

The pockets are low, but that is the style of them. They are supposed to look oversized and baggy. I think getting a larger size would work better for you because it would look more intentionally baggy. On mine, the pockets start right at the curve of the buttocks and end up on my upper thighs.

I think you can go one size up to 6. If theyare too big in the waist you can use the belt or take them in a bit. I think even size 4 is a bit too tight in the low hip / thigh for BF fit.
The blazer looks really nice.

Oh, gosh, I LOVE that blazer! And I agree about going up a size in the jeans. (I'm pretty certain that's what Angie meant by agreeing with Ceit)

I think you could still size up one on the BF but the ones in 4-6 are like slim BFs. Love the blazer on you. I got mine today and am glad.

For BF jeans, Una mentioned in one of the threads that these stretch a lot so should I keep size 4 and hope that it will stretch to get really baggy?

The blazer looks amazing on you. I adore the grey with yellow on you. The fit to my eye is perfection on your figure. KEEP.

The bf jeans: my initial reaction was "adorable" but -- if we're going to be picky-- I do think you could size up one or even two sizes. I'd love to see the fit difference.

I think the larger of your two sizes looks better (more like the intended BF look), but I think Ceit and Angie and others are encouraging you to try even one more size up (would that be 6?).

Is that what anyone else got? Or if Ceit or Angie chime in again. . .

They won't stretch that much. Take a look at Suz's pictures. Mine are like her biggest ones (but mine are a 12 instead of a 6). They are so baggy they don't really stretch out all that much because the fabric has so much ease.

I did buy a 10 also, and those are quite baggy too, and I like them rolled a little higher, but I do love the bigger ones more. It takes a second to get used to the style shift -- you want them to look too big

The blazer looks way better on you than me. I think I am definitely returning mine.

I'm with those who say you could go up one more size - they look even better when the slouchiness is more intentional looking. Adore the blazer on you!

Mona, for the true BF look, I would size up again. MIne are TWO full sizes larger than I usually wear, and I usually wear my Gap jeans a touch looser than some people wear theirs. Especially for those of us with curves, we won't get that slouchy look without going WAY up in size. But they are going to be amazing on you! I love how you have styled them with the top and sandals.

LOVE the blazer for you, too. The citron colour is great and adds such sass. I tried the fuchsia one on in the store but didn't think it looked that great on me. You, however, rock it!

I would go up 2 sizes to get the true boyfriend slouchy look. I bought a size 6 last week (my normal size at GAP is a 0) and I had 2nd thoughts all week after I got them home - and so when Vicki and I met today to pick hers out, I tried on the 4 and the 2 - but in the end I went back home with the 6's. They look huge on me - I like 'em that way!

I like the way the blazer looks on you. When you say that its a teeny bit snug in the shoulders - do you mean it feels snug or it looks snug, or both? If it *feels snug, I wouldn't get it!
