I need to add that in the second outfit, the colors of the top are ink blue, grey and white, in case they look like black/grey/white in the picture.

I love both of your outfits Julia, perfect SAHM examples! You can definitely add a white jacket ( or cardigan) to the first one, and a cropped cardi to the second one. Yellow comes to my mind, but kelly green or hot pink would be cute too. Also, a big chunky watch like in Angie's blog posts would take it even further up !

Julia, you look super! My favorite is the clam digger outfit, but I really like the skirt & top too.

As for colors of cardigans, you could put a red cardigan over that outfit too.

Julia, I like the skirt in the first outfit, but I think it would look even better paired with a fitted top. Since that top is less fitted at the bottom, and the skirt is fuller, you miss the mid-section definition. The top would be great with your clams, though. The second outfit is fab! Red is also another cardi color option for that outfit. Enjoy your SAHM time!

Becky I see your point with a more fitted top, I guess an example would be the one in Angie's first outfit today. I didn't feel very good with the top anyway because the neckline is too low and I have to adjust it constantly to cover the bras. It's too short to wear with clamdiggers so I have to find other ways to wear it.

Tanya I'm embarrassed that I haven't posted my new purchases yet. The white watch picture was taken when I was in HK, but the rest of the pieces are either unpacked or need to be ironed for me to take a picture. I'll do it tomorrow I promise. :)

becky, how funny that i was going to make the same comment on the top with the skirt. i agree that the midsection is lost with a flowy top and flowy skirt - i call it the xmas tree effect.

for more coverage with the top, you could try a cami underneath. the necklace goes well with the neckline of the top. i could see the top looking really cute with the clams or white jeans.

i think the top in the second photo would look great with the colors tanya mentioned. i could also see red or orange. with an interesting neckline like that though, i wouldn't want to cover it up with a cardi. but, when cooler weather prevails, i know it's necessary :) for warmer days where you don't plan to wear a cardi, i could see a high-waisted belt looking great with this. probably in any of the above listed colors, or white.

I echo the ladies concerns about the flowy top over the flowy skirt. Try wearing that top over a pencil skirt instead.

I echo the comments above on top for outfit 1 and perfection of outfit 2. I know you asked for color but you could also do something silver metallic with outfit 2.

Sihaya, silver metallic is a good idea. I have a pair of silver flats that might be even better than the black ones I wore.

Angie I paired the first top with a pencil jean skirt and put a cami under the top as Shell suggested. I think it's better but something is still not right. I don't like the sleeveless look on me somehow, thoughts?
