Thanks for your kind thoughts! I interviewed today and got the job:)
Trial shift on Thursday but she said that was just part of their procedure and she would be rostering me on straight away. Approx 10 hours a week, very flexible re availability, family friendly company and ... wait for it... 50% discount.
My other job is 16 hours so this brings me back up to the similar hours to what I was doing before I left my last job. So should be manageable, fun and I will still have time off during the week.
Now I am going to work on a small capsule for this role.
They like us to wear current stock but the manager of my store is quite lenient and doesn't like to put the staff under pressure. I know the temptation when working in fashion retail is to amass quite a lot of clothing so I am thinking of putting together a capsule that gives me approx 6 combinations (a different outfit for each shift over a two week period) and then as I purchase newer (current) items, sell off the older items. They are a quality label and pieces in good condition and reasonably current do have resale value. - Anyway just a thought.
This will be the first time I have really thought about or tried to put together a capsule wardrobe so I am quite excited:)
