Anyone here own the matchstick jeans by J crew? I'm considering getting a pair, but the $98 price tag makes my skin hurt. I'm thinking of asking for them for my birthday though.

Are they more straight or skinny? They come in the perfect inseam for me and I love the wash, but I'm not sure if they'd be too skinny on me. I prefer a straighter leg opening. They look good on the model, but well, what wouldn't?

Also, if anyone owns them, is the rise long enough? I like a mid-rise jean. Low rise tends to give me muffin top.
