I struggle a bit with first date outfits--I'm dressier than my environment, so my natural tendency is to use these opportunities to dress up a little bit more than usual. But at the same time, I also want to avoid looking like I'm trying too hard, as well. Does this lace peplum top, styled pretty much as it is below (well, without the necklace) count as "trying too hard"? It's a first date, and just coffee.
And for those of you who are still in the dating world, what do you wear on first dates?
