Is my butt square shaped? And what types of jeans would make my hips look more round?

I've read what inverted triangle wear on the bottom half but when I try this my bottom half looks like it's drowning. So I'm asking what designing besides side and back pockets make for a full hip line?

Also what shape is my butt? Personally this is confusing because from the side my butt's round but from the front it looks "flat" but that's due to the weird assumption that if the hips are straight then the butt is flat. My hips are square shaped. But my actual but from the side seems to be a different shape.

Anyhow what shape am is it square or is it round? Of course small round I know I don't have a big butt at all.

Advice?

From the back, it looks to me like your body is a rectangle. That means you don't have a big indent at the waist...that would be an hourglass body. We all have a derrière. So we can't be flat in the back. You seem perfectly proportional. Does this seem right for you?

I am a rectangle. I think it is an easy shape to dress. I personally don't want my hips to look round! I like the long lean look,

No my waist definitely indents as shown above. I just have straight hips but my buttocks is kind of round my hips are about 33-34 right now but at the fullest almost 35 I just measured them nude. And my waist is a 23...

When I said flat I meant in comparison to the typical flat butts which looks like in the before picture

I want more volume on the bottom half because my top half is more dominant that's why I want a jean to make me wider.

My shape has been called all sorts of things though inverted triangle is a good one though. I have hourglass measurements supposedly. Most body shape calculators say I'm an hourglass they don't take in account of my shoulders. And I've looked up trinny and Susannah 12 body shapes and I'm either a lollipop or globlet. Never gotten rectangle or pear though unless I was in a winter coat or something extra baggy. But I know my shape I was just wondering what type of jeans would fit best with my frame.

And I'm not tall. I'm quite short but it must be cool to be able to be long and lean.

Your butt is perfectly cute. I say go try on a bunch of jeans and see which make you happiest. It's hard to recommend pairs because cuts and fabrics change, so real life experience is probably best.
