Is it kosher to sell UNworn undergarments?

I should learn my lesson. Flash sales on gilt and ruelala are a mixed bag and should be approached with a high degree of caution.

I have two totally unworn and still in the packaging La Perla bra/underwear sets that I bought from ruelala in an ill-conceived attempt to spruce up my lingerie drawer. I have tried on the bras (though not the underwear) and it's clear that the sizes are wrong on both (36B on the bras which yielded cup sizes that are too big for me).

I am a sporadic Ebay shopper but have never used it to sell--is this the kind of thing that would sell well there or should I cut my losses (and learn my lesson, dammit)??
Alternatively, if anyone on the YLF forum is interested in purchasing, I'm happy to provide pics and additional details. They are gorgeous items, just not right for my body.
I am not looking to turn a profit here but just to recoup all or most of my outlay. And if you know La Perla, you know that the brand is expensive--even at a significant discount, these sets were pricey ($130 for one bra/underwear set and $80 for the other).

Totally kosher. In eBay speak, they would be "NWT" -- New With Tags, meaning they have not been worn by anyone. (Trying on doesn't count as wearing, since most things you buy in a store have been tried on and are still considered new.)

Auburn, April is right - I've bought many a NWT bra off eBay. I am attempting to resell one myself but the learning curve is steep on filling out the darn form lol! I hope you have better luck with it

Kosher in my book too. If you really want to be absolutely upfront you could mention in the description that the bras have been tried on but not worn, but honestly, I think just describing them as NWT would be fine.

I would sell them - be up front about what and why.
Your description should say it all.
NWT - They are gorgeous, sadly they aren't my size.
Include the retail price and a real picture. I'm sure you will have no trouble recouping your losses.
I've bought and sold lots of things on ebay. I started a bidding war over a bathroom fan once. I didn't realize that bathroom fans were hard to get covetted items. it was fun to see it sell for more than I paid for it.

If the panties are still in the sealed plastic, I'd leave them that way. You might be able to get a higher price.

By the way *warning: nasty information ahead*, on another board I used to frequent, someone posted about an interesting subset of eBay seller. I believe they were called "w*e*l*l w*o*r*n" sellers. Not sure if this is still allowed, but a few years ago, there were sellers specializing in us*ed under*garments. I'm not kidding. Buyers could request undergarment style, color, and level of "use" among other things. If any one is bold enough, you can see if this is still allowed. Meanwhile, I will go vomit.

dresslover, I'd never heard of such things until a fellow cocktail waitress I worked with said a customer offered to buy her underthings right off her at that moment! Apparently there are even vending machines in Japan for such items - it takes all kinds in this world . . .

In terms of the used undergarment purchasers, I remember finding out that there is a HUGE market for worn socks on ebay. To comply with the ebay services you are supposed to clean things, but the sellers get around that in their descriptions with a bit of a wink wink. Anyway, the socks that seemed to go for big money were ones with a story: "I wore these socks for an entire season of playing soccer. They were the only socks I wore in the rain, mud and dirt, and I sweat a LOT."

I was searching to see if pettipants type underwear still existed and came
across pairs for about fifty dollars. And not unworn. I think they were strictly
dealing with retro lovers and not fetishists.
