The rules are simple:
- random pairs of YLFers are selected, after which each member gets the postal address of *only* her pair, and then we post the gift (some symbolic value, up to $20 was last year's amount I think).
Some brainstorming for the dates should be worked out, but I think we need to post by 20-25-ish November, hoping that everyone will have their gifts in time to be able to open sometimes between 12-15th Dec.
Also, to avoid last year's double drawing of the pairs, we need to keep in mind that YLFs audience is global, so everyone needs to specify whether they want or not to post abroad as the overseas postage can be steep... That can be specified in the email message when applying for this year's Secret Santa.
We used the Elfster last year, and the year before... so you probably have an old account or you need to sign in.
I've created a group YLF Secret Santa 2012 to get things started.
