How fun! This is an old jacket, I bought mine in 2004. It hasn't been in circulation for years, but I want to give it a new chance. The main reason for not using it is that I feel it is a tad too big, but I can layer a sweater under it for a better fit. I finally hemmed the sleeves TODAY, so now they have proper length, finally. Shame on me. It looks great on you!

I got mine around that time too I read your "hello"-post and like me discovered petite sizes in the US recently. Sad we don't have that system in here. I havn't seen it anywhere in Europe, though not *that* familiar with European shopping Layering is imperative for me, so that sounds really like the best idea to "fill" the jacket. And it is a great way of dealing with varying weather/ temperatures during the day

I also have the skirt that I bought with the jacket, but it is a bit too tight at the moment. That might change, so I'll keep it for a while (or give it to one of my girls), as the skirt is quite nice. The sizing is very odd in this set, I think. My jacket, which is too big, is XS, while the skirt is too small and a size S.

Sorry for way too late reply! Yes, sizing is definately weird. I have the same sizes as you, but donated the skirt because it was pulling abound my tummy area and also came out as a bit short... probably because I had to wear it quite high due to tummy not fitting in skirt
