Lookbook: http://lookbook.nu/ I like that you can filter by city so you can see what people in a particular part of the world are wearing.

I also read a bunch of petite blogs. They are most relevant for me even if they aren't the most edgy or trendy: Alterations needed, extra petite, etc...

I get a lot of outfit inspiration from YLF, but I wanted to chime in on the petite blogs that Rita pointed out -- while I don't get end-to-end outfit ideas, I get a lot of ideas about pieces to seek out. They are also great for learning about proportions, alterations, etc.

I like Extra Petite (for pieces; extrapetite.com) and Sidewalk Ready (sidewalkready.com).

No help here because YLF forum is my favorite "street fashion" blog in that it shows real people of all different types trying out styles. The only thing it doesn't have is showing the clothes in movement. Other street fashion blogs either have too much preciousness (Sartorialist) or everyone's too young and hence their skirts too high. Since I would be looking for inspiration, particularly as to total and relative proportions, what can I do with these?

I'm interested in the recent articles claiming that women buy more if the models are closer to the women's own coloring, age, race, shape... I have liked Budget Chic, Style Sample and Girl With Curves because they are so consistent with their styles. But I can't possibly take inspiration from them because their body types and their skin tones are so radically different from mine. I can't take away any idea from them and wear it because what makes it work for them and captures my attention would be lost for me.
