Hi,
I am going to San Francisco , leaving this Sunday and returning in about 2 weeks. So that brings me into the first week of March.
I lived out there in the 80's but would you think I could remember what I wore? NO.
This of course was pre YLF.
I am planning on packing only one suitcase ,so far,-ha!
I was thinking... some cashmere sweaters, long sleeve cotton tops ,a biker jacket, 3/4 length BB trench, skinny jeans ,a pr. Low heel/ tall boots, converse sneakers, plus a few scarf’s and hats for the city?
I am not planning on doing any fancy dining on this trip. I know San Francisco is full of great $$ restaurants, I will be seeking out the small places tucked into the neighborhoods, so dress will not be an issue-smart casual should be fine. Maybe tea at the Fairmont or Ritz, max.
I have no real agenda while in the city for 3 nights, so any suggestions you might have would be appreciated. I will have a car.
I know it is the rainy season.
It can get up to the 60's during the day low 40's at night.
Would a cotton t-neck be better at for this time of year, or light weight wool?
I will also be spending time in the Half Moon Bay area on a ranch in the Mts. which will mean a cabin with a wood stove. Going to Monterrey for a few days to the Aquarium. To Filoli Gardens in Woodside for the daffodil festival and I will be visiting some local growers(work related).
For the ranch I will probably bring another pair of boots, jeans and polartec with other rain gear.
I'm up to two suitcases as I write this. I do not want my BB coat full of mud etc.
This is my favorite way to travel, mix things up a bit. But I still do not pack as efficiently as I would like. It is a challenge for me and I could use your help!
Thanks!
