I'm curious ...how many pairs of shoes do u own?

I have this thing since i was a kid (7) being always bare feet at home but when i go out i have a lot of high heels and just 1 or 2 pairs of low heel they never last cuz when i wear them i walk a lot and use them in a month like 20 times for not an hour but whole day hahaha so skipping my nonesence

I posted them the other day. I just added booties, but I have a pair of flats that have to go. Sadly, the red/brown combo ones are just too small (And brand new )

Also, the sneaks are being replaced, but the new ones aren't here yet.

I think you and I are in the minority for shoe size collection

6 pairs going out shoes ( needs a cull as I don't go 'out' that often)

I'm rather proud of my small to me shoe wardrobe. I once had 75+ pairs with the majority being short on comfort. Now even my going out shoes I can wear for hours on end x

1 pair flat knee length winter boots
1 pair flat ankle boots
1 pair wellies
1 pair gladiator sandals
1 pair wedge sandal
1 pair of oxfords that have seen better days and that I only wear when invigilating exams on wooden floors
2 pairs skanky trainers
+ miscellaneous stuff that should be sent to the charity shop/put on eBay/binned.

So, yeah..........7 pairs of functional autumn/winter shoes and 2 pairs of functional summer shoes :O Not having the correct shoes for all eventualities has always been a problem for me.

Here goes.. I have :

1 pair low knee high boots
2 pair high heel knee high boots
2 pair medium heel knee high boots
1 pair ankle boots
2 pairs trainers for fitnness walking
2 pair flat sandals
4 pair high heel sandals
2 pair medium height sandals
4 pairs high heeled shoes with mary-jane style straps.
1 pair snow boots.

Gosh I didn't think it was that many! I have two pairs of ankle boots on order.
3 pairs of the high shoes aren't worn very much at all and I plan to sell one pair of my high boots.
I actually would prefer more booties and shoes for cool, non summer type weather.

Heh, you really want me to count?

I have an embarrassing number of shoes -- mostly on seasonal extremes, either boots or sandals. Very few pumps. A growing number of oxfords. I think I'm almost ready for another shoe purge.

2 pairs of clogs
1 pair of pumps
5 pairs of sandals

I am on one in, one out for shoes because I'm running out of closet space.

Before YLF, lots of shoes. Now I've streamlined nicely to a total of: 14

6 boots: 1 black riding tall, 1 brown riding tall, 1 camel tall, 1 black short zip up, 1 black short lace up, 1 mid calf natural

4 shoes: 1 black loafer, 1 grey boatshoe, 1 black wedge sandal for dressy events, 1 tan ballet flat

4 sandals/sneakers: 1 black flip flop, 1 blue/white stripe sandal, 1 black sneaker, 1 white sneaker

Oh my gosh - I probably have 70 or 80 pairs, although I pack away the out of season pairs so I never have so many on display at once. I love shoes and live in fear of not having the right shoe for an outfit. Every season I purge shoes that aren't worn or are dated. I really try to wear all my shoes, except for certain fancy ones that aren't suitable for work or casual wear. Since I feel like I'm pretty good about wearing my shoes, I don't feel too guilty about having so many. Plus I don't tend to spend a lot on them - I shop mostly sales and discount stores.

Oh dear. My Stylitics closet doesn't lie - I currently have 29 pairs of shoes. There are another 5 on my wishlist.

That said -
The Kate Spade Tock flat (bottom row, first and sceond from left) is included in that 29 twice, in blush and blue, but I will be keeping a maximum of one pair.
The loafers (top right corner) are looking a little worse for wear and are on their way out.
The Naturalizer butterfly wedges (bottom row, far right) have been well worn, but just don't tickle me any more. They're in the holding zone.

The 5 on my list are for spring/summer:
-A Nude or Coloured Flat, depending on the Kate Spades I've ordered
-An 8-hour wedge sandal for work
-A flat, neutral sandal
-A comfortable, coloured sandal (may be flat or wedge)
-Boat Shoes

It sounds pretty outrageous all laid out like that, but I'm a shoe lover in a 4-season climate. I am resigned (sigh!) to a large shoe collection. (DH is another story...)

Probably 60-70. I think. Not counting slippers. Or flip flops. Yikes, maybe I should count and do another purge.

Not sure, maybe 150. I do wear them all but have to rotate them seasonally to have space for them.

I'd say 35. I have only worn some pairs a few times so far. The snow, and my job, keep me from wearing my 'fun' shoes most of the time. I also tend to want to be ready for anything, and my fancy shoes can get in the way of that
The best purchase I've made in years are my purple Dansko Veda's for work. So glad I did that!

WHAT?! some of u have 150 hahaha wow i remember that some women like shoes. i personally just started last year in black friday to purchase like 6 in one store...I usually have 6 pairs of shoes cuz black pumps r classic to me, so i pair my pumps with almost all my outfits and the other ones are for special occation. Really i think is because every week i purchase one or 2 piece of clothing i donate like crazy every 6 months and i if i don't a sack or 2 full of clothes go to army salvation withing a year :/ and jewerly !!! im hooked with that too, and bags not a fan only 2 backs to carry my stuff!! Clothes r my obssession!

I'm not ready to face my number yet.

At least half, if not 3/4, are black pumps for work - trying to get out of the black shoe rut.

Need to purge.

Oh, all right, we're doing the female version of a pissing contest! LOL I'm kidding. But that's what I always think of when we compare shoes. I wonder, in the history of humankind, if a group of men have ever counted up and talked about how many pairs of shoes they have?

OK, here goes. These are ALL the things I wear on my feet (not including socks!):

11 shoes
5 short boots
4 mid-calf boots
3 tall boots
2 wellies
3 sandals
1 flip flops
2 house slippers
3 sport shoes (gear)
1 snow boots (gear)
1 gardening shoes (gear)
1 downhill ski boots (gear)

This reflects the climate I live in, of course. More boots than shoes, not many sandals. So, 28 pairs of "fashion" footwear, if you don't include the house slippers and flip flops, which I don't.

I think that's 34. There's probably a few more, but those are the ones in regular rotation. I need to purge a few pairs because unfortunately the closet in my dorm room has very limited space.
