If I had to pick one...

I'm trying to come up with Christmas ideas for Mr. Boof. I was playing around on the Coach website out of curiosity. I've never had a Coach item before so I don't know if the quality lives up to the hype. I found a couple of bags I love:

The gramercy patent pouch in red: I've needed a nice red bag forever, and I kind of dig the smaller size.

I love the graphic nature and muted tones of this one (op art chain link maggie):

Would one be more versatile over the other? Thoughts are appreciated. :o)

It won't let me link directly to each bag, so you have to scroll down to find it. Sorry.

Of course, I vote the plain red bag. Flop proof :0)

I love the quality of Coach bags. However, I'm not too keen on the ones that are emblazoned with their logo all over. This may be personal taste - I really don't like obvious logos on anything. So I would not go for either of these bags - even the red one, that embossed pattern is their logo.

However, I WOULD go for the red "new embossed Ella." Gorgeous shade of red. The Garnet is nice too, if you prefer pebbled leather.

My girlfriend has the cambridge clutch in black - it's a lovely and versatile bag with lots of space for a clutch and many compartments to keep her organized. Too big for my body frame, but she's tall so she can handle it.

Good point, Shiny. I don't usually like to be a walking advertisement for brands. I thought maybe it was subtle enough that it would just look like quilting.

Boof, I actually originally thought it was just quilting before Shiny pointed out the Coach logo! It's not *that* obvious to my eye!
