I think it's time for another challenge.....

your mission should you choose to accept it....

Pull out that v-neck sweater that you've accused of being unstylish and work your magic with it. Post a few outfits of yourself looking fab for us all to ooh and ahh over. And if you really don't want to have a dress up session, atleast lay some possible outfits out on your bed and snap a pic (but of course we would much prefer to see the outfit modeled by beautiful you Even if you don't think you'll be wearing your sweater much, join in the fun for others to get inspiration from.

Post your outfits in a seperate thread so we don't end up with a thread of 100 comments here.....

Are you in? I"ve already been scouting my closet for ideas......

Also, I meant to add that it would be fun to include a "before YLF" pic" either an actual pic of how you wore a v-neck (or crew neck) sweater, or a "recreated" pic of you and your sweater without being styled up!

I'm in too! Most of my v-necks are too big and a bulky knit = really less than flattering. If they are beyond hope, I'll at least know to get rid of them and move on!!!

I probably have more V-neck sweaters than anyone, but even I am completely stumped by this. It had just never occurred to me to try to make them stylish before! They're just there to keep me warm in my flat, or under my coat at the grocery store. Hmm, will have to ponder this one...

I'm a frequent lurker, infrequent poster, but this challenge is perfect for me! I have several v-neck sweaters that I have contemplated pitching due to their lack of shape, but just can't because they were expensive. I even have a few that are cashmere.

I'm so glad that you proposed this challenge, Kim. I'm definitely up for it and wore basic V-neck sweater to work today for the first time in ages. I'll try to do a couple more before the week is out. (At least it keeps me doubly warm!)

If I can locate my sweater, I will try this, but I've got to say I'm completely stumped for how to jazz it up.... it's boring black. If it was a more interesting color, I would have more interesting ideas!

I only have one V-necksweater, a light weight ATL pullover in a teal green. Try as I might, I can't seem to get an interesting look using it. Must be that the fit is off. It's in the donation pile.

Oh rats. I just discovered I have dye stains on my one and only citron V neck sweater. I actually love this top. Any ideas on how I can treat it? The stains have had time to set.

Oh, great challenge idea! I'll try to take a picture - I did get some ideas for my v-neck sweaters from YLF awhile back, I just wish I had a bigger variety of accessories.
shiny, I've worn my black v-neck over white cami with a houndstooth vest, and I like that look. I just remembered because I think you have a similar vest.
