When I was in Portland, Maine recently, I bought a lovely wrap dress--black with white polka dots, sleeveless with a collar. It is stretchy, comfortable, and gorgeous. But I noticed the first time I wore it, that it is a little short. And when the wind blows, too much shows.

So on Saturday, I decided to take the plunge and wear it over jeans. I still haven't gotten batteries for my camera, so you'll have to use your imaginations. This was for karaoke night.

Black, with white polka dot wrap dress
Dark boot cut jeans
strappy wedge sandals
a lime green cardigan
(fake) silver pearl choker
purple and silver clutch

I didn't find the dress restrictive at all (especially when I was breaking out my Nancy Sinatra moves during my rousing rendition of "These Boots Are made for walking."), and I really did feel fab.

Next time I wear it, I will take photo!
