Don't even talk to me about Chie Mihara, Maya. I adore her shoes- every time I'm in a shop and see a shoe I like, a little voice in my head says "It's a Chie Mihara, and you can't afford it" as I'm reaching for it. That stupid voice is right like 80% of the time.

Those are so, so nice. It's too early in the morning for this kind of injustice.

Oh, another gorgeous pair of Chie Miharas!

I think it was Cciele who mentioned this brand a while ago on the forum, and since then I am drooling over their shoes.

They actually look pretty comfy (also I recall Cciele saying that this brand makes comfortable shoes), and I can manage this height without a problem. But the price is way way too high ... sigh ...

Sorry for invoking more feelings of shoe lust, but hey, why should I be the only one suffering! I don't look at the "designer shoe" section on any website. I just don't bother because there is absolutely no point. But I saw these posted in another blog and just about fainted. I wonder if I could get a pair of less treacherous booties (as Palm so accurately put it) and add my own ruffly grosgrain bow. Sometimes one must take matters into their own hands! Actually, the Franco Sarto booties that a lot of YLFabbers bought not too long ago would have been great because the bow could have easily been attached to the fabric vamp. Hmm...I have some research to do...

I had thought about that Brianna...like maybe piling on a bunch of shoe clips to get enough volume and ruffley-ness...but how do attach shoe clips to booties? And where to find ones that are big and crazy enough? I looked at some a while ago at a site called Audrey's Shoe Clips (I think) and they were all on the small side...mostly jewels. I think it would be easier to just buy a grosgrain ribbon and ruffle it up myself. The trickiest part will be figuring out how to attach it.

I already have black ankle boots that I haven't been feeling very enthusiastic about lately. I'll be checking out the craft store this weekend for sure..

Oh they are SO cute (too girly for me, but I would love to see them on someone else)!!! I've got to take exception to the "can't walk in them" part of your post, though, because Chie Mihara shoes are really, really, really comfortable even when the heel is high. I fell for a pair of Chies a couple years ago at Pedshoes.com and bit the bullet. They are seriously the most comfortable heels ever! My toes never feel jammed and I never get that "can't wait to get these things off" feeling.
