Last week I took an account of my wardrobe. I have over 100 tops. Literally, graphic tees comprise half of that number. Most are from bands: bands on our label, bands on a friend's label, bands we are personally friends with, bands I've performed with, bands we know peripherally but love musically, etc etc.

Since these are so integral to my life, I want to find more ways to wear them at work. (Brief explanation: I work in tech as well as advertising and marketing so a range of casual is acceptable) So far, I've only worn them with skinny pants, usually a dark denim, a blazer and usually a flashy necklace. Footwear varies.

What are some other creative ways to wear these?? The biggest challenge is going to be the shape - most are not tailored, but a men's small, so blocky and slightly roomy, quality fabrication for this type of tee meaning thick 100% cotton that doesn't have much fluidity, and lots of high narrow crew necks. I have a few that aren't this challenged (actually women's tees, better fit, thinner fabric etc) so those I'm not as uncertain how to wear, although I'm sure any suggestions for the others will be useful for those as well.

I've thought about wearing them with pencil skirts, but don't think they could be tucked in and it would have to be a fitted skirt to balance the roominess of the top. Maybe tube skirts would work, but I only have one or two I think... With skinny or straight leg dress pants or colored skinnies, I feel I need the blazer to up the business end of business casual. Could I layer a button down over instead of the blazer, unbuttoned? With bootcut dress pants, I would feel completely out of time I think, and bootcut jeans are out of the question - even with a blazer that seems far too casual to me.

Any other ideas?? I'm liking the idea of bringing this aspect of my personal life into my work wardrobe, but really struggling to figure out the actual implementation.
