How to wear bright! orange shoes?

Hello there! I'm new in the forum so nice to meet everyone

I'm really hankerin after these bright orange, strappy sandal stilettos. And by orange, I mean neon orange - impractically bright colors just mesmerize me and I lose all shopping rationality :\

They're definitely MAJOR statement shoes but I think they're playful enough that they don't have to be saved for any special occasions. And they're by Melissa which is one of my favorite brandssss...quite durable

I really need some help with how to work them into all kinds of casual dressy outfits. I can see them going well with blue jeans and a bright top of some kind - but having trouble visualizing any skirts or any other color pants. Ooo and layering? I'm looking to get adventurous these days! Here is a tiny pic:

...And actually they come in a citron yellow that I'm considering as well. Now I'm questioning versatility - maybe I should opt for yellow instead? I know they're both terribly bright, so it's not like they're going to be easy colors to wear in any case ^^;;

What's everyone's opinion/suggestions?

I'm a fan of Melissa shoes as well, and I'm also a fan of bright shoe colors. One fool-proof way to wear them is with a neutral outfit. You could wear them with a grey dress, or a tan skirt and white top, a cream dress, etc. The shoes will be the statement and the colors of your outfit won't distract from them.

You can also combine the shoes with other colors. If you have clothing that is patterned and has orange in it, that's an obvious choice. But otherwise, anything goes, as long as the colors don't clash. I could see them with purple, yellow, teal, fuschia, etc. What shade of yellow are the other shoes? I love orange so I wouldn't have a problem wearing them at all. But if the yellow seems like it would work with more of the colors that already exist in your wardrobe, maybe it makes more sense.

For me orange is almost a neutral! It's easy to pair with brown, white, cream. Looks fab with caramel and grey!
Those are gorgeous shoes! I want to see a picture of the look!

I love orange! I would immediately think of pairing them with denim, or gray, or white/off-white/cream. Other brights would be great, like red, blue, green, yellow (imagine with a white pencil skirt or white jeans and a bright blue top). I don't care for orange with black or brown, so for me at least, that might be a slight limitation, but there are plenty of other options :).

I would wear them like a neutral - just beware of too much orange so as not to be matchy-matchy!

I am not much help because I don't like orange, so, if it's an eye-popping bright yellow, I myself, would go with those. I can easily figure out what to wear with yellow (gray, navy) and, as long as it's nowhere near my face, I like it.
That being said, the style of those is great and I do love the pop of a bright color shoe.

Colleen...those are super cute! I would wear them with dark denim skinnies and a white crisp blouse...pop and scrunched of course:)

Few things look as awesome together as denim and orange shoes! I love the idea. Lots of different blue washes will work, from very dark indigo to washed-out light blue.
