I haven't post any pictures for awhile here... I did a HUGE clean up in my closet and gave most of the clothes to one of my friends who rock them nicely. My style lately is changing and I am trying to gather classy pieces at the moment. I'm also looking for gladiator sandals (Not the hippish one but the more modern one).

I bought these gladiator sandals when Angie introduce them here and I am wearing them on this outfit! Today was BBQ day with a couple of my friends and I wore this outfit. Sorry I couldn't get a clearer picture, it rained after that and I couldn't take more pictures.

What I wore:
- Pattern red/blue shirt from Suzy Shier
- Leggings from Giordano (I bought them in Hong Kong)
- White gladiator sandals
- Red bracelet
- I wore blue earrings (Couldn't see them well on the picture, I'll take the picture another time)

By the way, I got a new hairstyle and I streak my hair red about a month ago. The hairstyle is pretty similar to the last one but the front is a bit different (It shows more when I tie my hair). By the way, I was wearing makeup on that day lol...

This picture is from my 20th birthday on June 19th. My actual birthday was on the 20th but I move it to the 19th so most of my friends can make it. This one is where I got my streak about a week ago so the color was still fresh.

oh I LOVE how the Brulees look in white! I think that might be the color I duplicate them in. They are fab. Love the tunic. Your hair color looks awesome too. Happy belated birthday.

GXT -- you do look wonderful! Since you said you felt the outfit was "not your style," though, let me see if I can help figure out why that might be.

You mentioned that in your closet clean-out, you were attempting a more "classy" style. Would you say that "sophisticated" might describe the classy look you're going for? Although as I said, you look wonderful and objectively speaking, there is nothing amiss with your outfit, if you're going for more sophistication I can see where the pattern of this particular top might be what doesn't feel right to you.

Again, if you hadn't said you had a feeling it wasn't your style, there would be absolutely no issue since the cut is flattering, the colors are so pretty, and it looks great on you. I would not, however, describe it as sophisticated, and that may be what's bothering you. Does that make sense?

Would it help to see some leggings outfits that incorporate a more sophisticated look?

I think the outfit is cute, but I agree that it is different than what you usually wear. It is more boho. Your look is edgier. There's definitely a way to do edgy sophistication. Not really sophisticated clothes... I like the clothes that are edgy a bit and maybe what Angie wore the London look will give you guys a good idea. I want something like what the Londoners dress because I felt this is what I felt comfortable in.

My hairstyle is perfect for the look I want to go through... Like an edgy... Something edgy. I am totally lost and shopping with my older cousin didn't help either. Especially when I'm looking for sandals, her taste does not match with mine that much.

Come to think of it... I really am going for the sophisticated style with an edge.
