Help with styling the VC midi? ETA my first attempt.

Hi everybody,
Would any of you who have the Vince Camuto midi be willing to share a picture of how you wore it? I have the black lace one. It is exceedingly comfortable and fits well, but I seem to be having some trouble figuring out how to wear it.

I have two of these skirts and I love them! I also have a Bailey 44 midi that's similar in shape to the VC. Here are a few photos of how I've styled them.

#1-3 - VC midis with untucked tops

#4 - VC midi with banded bottom top

#5 - striped Bailey 44 midi with tee and denim jacket

It seems to work best with loose woven shirts or loose t-shirts for me.

Oooh! I love the lace version. So pretty!

I don't know how tall you are, but my skirts had to be shortened to hit just below my knee (my personal midi sweet spot). That helped a lot with the styling.

I basically wear them with everything, all the time. I can't really wear tights or hose underneath, so for me they are a late spring/ summer/ early autumn skirt (in my climate). But during this period they have been workhorses and totally worth the money.

I'd love to see your lace one with a denim jacket or anything that would be a little bit of a textural juxtaposition.

I recently wore this style of skirt with the Lace yoke rolled sleeve pocket tee from Express. It was really cute and figure flattering while being age appropriate. http://www.express.com/clothin...../cat320057

I also wore the skirts with a drapey or actually slightly drapey tank.
