Help me choose Skagen watch

Hi Everyone,

I just recently discovered this line of watches. At first I thought I wanted the white one but then came across the two toned watch. Now I am so undecided. I can not actually see the watches and hold one before buying.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Opinions are more than welcome.

This will be my first big face watch purchase. Hubby does not care for the mesh bracelet in the two toned watch. I am leaning more towards the two toned one.

I LOVE the first one. I much prefer it to #2. Is there a reason DH dislikes the mesh? I can tell you that it is really thin and kind of delicate looking IRL, not in your face at all. It is also really comfortable. Paired with the very thin watch it makes you feel like you're not wearing a watch at all.

Below is my old women's Skagen watch. You can see how delicate it looks on the arm. I think I really need an oversized one too, one of these days...

Oh and with the mesh band you can change the length very quickly to adjust it on your arm, you're not dependent on holes in the band and there are no tools needed.

I like the first one. The second one is fun but would have more limited wear in my own life -- I live in a winter dominant climate (a white watch feels better in summer) -- plus it is less like jewellery and more sporty.

I have a skagen watch similar to the first one ... I love it, and would vote for that one also!

I have a Skagen 2 toned watch and I love it. I think it is a great addition to any outfit.

I love my Skagen two toned watch. Mine has a mesh bracelet and mother of pearl face. <3

I love both but the seocnd one is more striking to me. A white watch is very fresh in any outfit even in winter.I found my white one to be more versatile than I imagined. That said the mesh one is fab as well and will truly work with any outfit. I LOVE Skagen watches.They last long and are very well made IMHO.

Huge Skagen fan. I like #1. But, I have a white ceramic Skagen and I like the white one also. Battery has been dead on all of my watches for a month, and haven't gotten out to replace them...good reminder.

I love #1. In fact, I've thought of getting a similar one in rose gold and silver, as a dressier option, since my other watches are sporty and have leather straps, except for a big chunky rose gold one, which I love, but sometimes I want something more delicate, you know? I think the Skagens are really nice looking.

Raising my watch covered arm in solidarity with Skagen lovers. I like both but depends how you will wear. The white ceramic is more sporty, the two tone dressy, I would decide based on the one that gives me high % of wearing opportunities.
I have a mesh band Skagen that is smaller and I love it but wish it was the larger model. They used to have a lot of leather band models but the leather bands wear out faster and are harder to replace. The mesh is permanently attached to the watch face.

I love #1. I have one in all silver with a mesh band. I still love it. I guess you either love it or you don't.

I love #1. I love watches and especially large two toned watches. I am so in love with #1. I don't like white watches for myself (not a white fan of much) but I could see some might like it. Now I am going to look up Skagen watches.

I think the two toned metal would be more versatile but a white watch can be a striking accessory. Both are very nice.

Thank you for all your feedback and comments everyone. I have made my decision with your help.

We first went to our local mall here in Belleville, ON and looked at all the different watches with the picture in hand of the one I desired. No Skagen watches anywhere. Hubby was with me and he heard all the great comments the guy at the jewelry store had to say about the Skagen watch I wanted. He proceeded to tell him they are a very good watch and are known for their low profile. We found the watch on amazon.ca and ordered it when we got home.
I will have the watch in the New Year! Yippee so happy.

So now to let you all know, I ordered number 1!!!

I love love that watch. I just hope it looks as good on me as it does in the picture.

I plan on wearing it with my Oxidized silver Pandora bracelet. I only have a couple of charms on mine. I hope the two work well together.

I have also located myself the Ani bracelet with the letter R in the gold colour. Yeah me!

@dianthus.. I am too.... I have never been able to think of anything to ask for Christmas for many years. Hubby always asks what I want. Reason being is nothing really hit my fancy. Then along comes this watch.

We do not really go out and buy each other stuff and wrap them up.

Just noticed that your birthday is the same day as my daughter
