Hello everyone! I am sort of new, have been lurking for nearly 2 years now & am ready to jump in & join the fun! I would love some help finding a great pair of boots for myself. Here are some recent purchases, I am deciding which to keep & maybe help narrow down what style/color might actually work best for me.
I am a casual dresser, I work from home & I LOVE to wear black & grey! LOL Just to give you a little bit of info. I am a pear & am very conscious of trying to keep my figure "balanced". I was trying to find a pair of cognac boots, but not sure now if this color works for me as well as a pair of grey. Anyway, here are the pics!

1) Steve Madden Candence in Stone. I think I like how these fit me I should have tried these in other colors. keep or return?

2) Chinese Laundry suede grey..I think these might be too big & "clunky"? I liked suede for the texture though. These are them at their tallest, next pic same boots folded down.

3) Same boots, folded..I kind of feel like a pirate..lol I did liek these until I saw the pics... Keep or return?

4) BP Runway in cognac, these I am pretty sure are going back, I do nto liek the way the wrinkle but I thought I would post them to show boot height.style color & see if I should try & find something similar?

5) chinese laundry in cognac..wow !I feel like I am wearing those fishing pants! pretty sure these are going back but it was fun to try on such tall boots!

6) same boots folded down...again pirate..plus these seem really "bright" much moreso than the BP ones.. return correct?

The next pics are to show what my current boot collection is so maybe I can get some advice on helping me fill in my gaps.

7) Target boots..I got these last year & only wore them 1x. I just polished them up & now LOVE how dark they are! The only thing is I am pretty self concious of my calves & wonder if this is the right height for me? They fall right mid calf. I can't return lol but wondering if this is more my color & I should invest in a taller pair?

8) Another target pair (last year was my 1st year trying out the boots/jeans thing & I didn't want to invest too much $ before deciding if I like it or not..I do! Anyway, I wore these the most & they are "OK" wondering if I should invest in a nicer quality pair? ( I always feel like a motorcycle cop when I wear these lol)

9) **my favorite things so far!!** Thanks to Angies recent blog posts where she showed her clients I HAD to get this leopard coat..*LOVE*
& the Ankle boots! I LOve them both no matter what! LOL I just had to share these!

Thank you in advance if you take the time to look at all these pics! It is hard shopping "alone" & I was getting close to just returning everything & giving up! I appreciate *any* advice or help or links or anything you all can give.

10) **adding a pic of boot # 4 the BP Runway. I really did like the color fit & style, but I think it was mroe of a quality issue? See in the pic the wrinkles? One boot is worse than the other, it looks really weird too, like crinkled paper, not a distressed look really. I wonder if I just got an "off" pair, because these boots had pretty good reviews.
