Boots to go with skirts/dresses?

Has anyone seen these in person? http://www.gap.com/browse/prod.....#038;ap=14 I'm hoping they are a tad darker shade than they photograph here.

EDIT: I'm also now changing gears and thinking of these http://www.endless.com/Pilar-A.....8;size=100

I'm wanting them to work with the outfits in the reply to Rae below . . . am I losing focus?? lol

I got them just today and I'm thinking they are going back. I'll post some pics but they don't hit the right note to go with skirts/dresses I don't think. And I have plenty of boots I can wear with my pants already.

EDIT: here they are unstyled, I just threw them on with what I was wearing, but the bare leg gives me an idea of how skirts would look and I'm not wowed. Not much different in my eyes from the original lower booties . . .

yeah, now I wish I'd gone with the original choice despite the gapiness LOL! I'll try the taller ones with the same outfits for proper comparison before shipping back, though.

I think that GAP boots linked above will be similar to the taller pair in the photo post Mo. The second pair might be closer to what you're after. For what it's worth, I rather like those, definitely better than the gappy pair.
