Has anyone been to Ann Taylor lately?

They look 10 times better than Club Monaco and Nordstrom. It kind of blows my mind. Chanel meets Lauren Hutton meets Cher. Ann Taylor looks incredible at the moment.

Unfortunately the online shopping impression does not do the assortment justice

Ann Taylor is one of my all time favorites and this seasons is great.

LOP, I strongly urge you to get the animal print blouse. It's killer in real life. The fabric is scrumptious. Love the cream cowl blouse too - I know you will wear it in an interesting way

Good to hear - I was actually worried for them this past summer/fall. Every time I walked past one of their stores in a mall, it seemed to have a single color scheme for the merchandise and it would be pretty darn empty of shoppers. Other stores, like BR and ATL, were having super discounts and tons of shoppers.

Plus, I like the sound of tomato red. . .

Angie -- the skirt I bought isn't on the website unfortunately. It's just a classic pencil skirt in a ponte knit fabrication... fits very well and the quality seems to be fantastic!

I'm in AT regularly. I love their jackets (if they have a little stretch). The tops are typically cut too narrow in the shoulders/bust for me. I always try lots of things on though, just to be sure. And I love their scarves - just yesterday I found this black & white herringbone scarf on sale!

Just did an on-line preshop and I definitely need to get there post haste. We have a couple in our (limited) area. I love the opportunity to go to a brick and mortar store and actually try things on.

This thread reinforces my feeling that I need to go back to Ann Taylor this weekend. I was there two weeks ago, and unfortunately hit AT at the low blood sugary end of a long day, so I wasn't able to take it in at the time or try things. About two hours after I left, I realized there were a bunch of things there that I really liked. Arg! At least I have an Ann Taylor near me.

I remember seeing a fab polka dot dress, but now can't remember if it was there. Guess I'll find out this weekend!

I LOVE Ann Taylor, the quality is better than most, fabric is interesting. Now they've definitely upped their style factor. Have you seen some of the necklaces... WOW! I also really like how they organize their site as well. A look of sophistication as well.

I haven't been in the store since before the holidays, but just took a look at their site, and I love that ikat leopard top. Darn it, I recently bought an animal print blouse (one of my TJMaxx finds) that I haven't even worn yet, but it is a totally different style...
