Diane, I love these posts, and you.
Our baby garden is coming up beautifully. I will take some photos if I get outside later, got a hurt foot so maybe not. We have red onions, candy striped beets, japanese eggplant, green beans. Also bought three boysenberry plants, need to get them in the ground soon and then in about ... 3 years, we'll have enough berries to make something really good! I have five cute little bonsai trees, too.
A fun thing happened on Easter. We have many young nieces and nephews in their 30s, trying to make their way in life with careers, families, and all the mayhem of finding out who you are. So, DH was watering the garden in the morning, and Nephew1 came over to chat. They ended up having a deep man talk for about an hour. In the late afternoon, DH was watering again, when Nephew2 came over to chat, and they also ended up having a deep man talk for about an hour! ha ha My hubby is like their ObiWan, and rightly so because he is wise and kind. We decided the garden encourages males to confide in each other, who knew?
Mmmm, curry. I'm making a ham today, well just heating it really as it's already cooked. I feel so lucky to have food and fun and fabbers in my life! Ta!
