Ohhh Angie your birthday posts are always such a treat, I am so touched. Thank you and everyone else for the wonderful and lovely birthday wishes. YLF is the best <3
(Mary I'm amazed you found an Aida cake, and they even spell their name the same as I do in Arabic!)
Rachy, I am delighted to be your birthday twin, and totally in for birthday month. Let's do it. Your insightful and witty comments AND outfits are always a pleasure, and I'm so glad you're starting to post more of them. I look forward to seeing how Country Punk manifests. We definitely need to meet one day, I foresee great pontification on the finer points of '90s west coast punk ^^
I had a wonderful low-key birthday, spending the day with my husband and sister. In the morning hubby gifted me a purse I'd requested (unfortunately though, it feels too large-scale for me) but totally surprised me by sticking a new camera inside! He'd ordered one immediately Friday morning, the day after I broke my other one, and had it overnighted so I could start using it right away ^^ We went to Chandler's Crabhouse for breakfast, where I had my only cake of the day: some delicious coffee cake. After that we met my sis at the ballpark and spent the rest of the day and evening there. The game was a blowout in the wrong direction, but it was '70s night and still great fun. Will post outfits and photos shortly
