Do you categorize your purses by season? For me, it's in the same category as other fashion myths like matching handbags to shoes and not wearing black and brown together. I enjoy a pop of summery color when it's dreary and cold outside, and likewise I like a cooler look when it's hot outside. It's refreshing and unexpected. I feel like it's mostly older women who are concerned with it, but that just may be my experience. I just find it confining to let the season dictate what I wear more than it already does, and, unlike wearing clothes that don't fit or flatter, wearing a white bag in mid-January is hardly going to cause snickers and whispers.
