you'd have to post a pic to be sure, but I'm guessing white and yellow is spring and summer. Red, depending on the style and fabric should work all year, IMO.

Yellow and white for the summer. Red, blue, camel, brown and black all year long!

I digress. I think it depends on the fabric. If it is pleather or leather, I would definitely use a yellow bag in the winter.

Do you have a photo of the handbag Louise, I think this would depend on the fabric of your handbag and the colours/ fabric of the rest of your outfit. I believe you could use a red bag year round.

I'm thinking the yellow would be great for winter, but not the white.

I can totally see the yellow bag with some rich winter colors, especially purple and burgundies.

I think they would both work in winter as they are pleather. That yellow bag is quite cute!

I desperately want WHITE Doc Marten14 eyelet boots. I tried them on today and I almost fainted they excited me so much.

I have a few bags that are winter or summer appropriate only (an ivory canvas and a wicker one for summer, suedes for fall), but mostly my everyday bags are used year-round.

For the truly stylish the rules can bend. Ordinarily a white bag like that would be best for summer, but I can see someone rocking it in the winter time if done properly. I wouldn't know how to do it but I'm sure Beyonce could pull it off.

I on the other hand tend to move towards off-white accessories for winter.

I love both of your handbags, I would wear the yellow bag in Autumn against browns, teal blues etc. I think it would provide a beautiful contrast.

I've never followed "seasonal colours" rules. I love to carry my bright yellow, white or pink bags in the winter - the pop of such summery colour can really brighten a dreary day (or an otherwise dark outfit)!

Angie i couldn't help but smile when i read you nearly fainted you were so excited. Think i'll be continuing to use these as the weather gets colder i like breaking the rules! x

Oooh I love the sound of those white Docs, Angie. I also intend on carrying my yellow handbag into winter... especially on days that I have to bring lots of books into university. I'm not going to buy another huge handbag in a 'winter colour'. (mainly cos I'm broke!)
