I flat ironed for many years, but like you, I just don't have the time or inclination to put all that much work into my hair, so I have finally - FINALLY! - come to peace with my curls. In fact I love them now. I used to think sleek and straight would complement my polished style, but now I think my curls are the perfect counterpoint to it, and they make me feel unique and distinctly 'me.' Viva the wavy and curly hair! It looks lovely and really suits your face shape.

Definitely love this look on you. We always want what we don't have. I envied a friend when I was little for her long dark straight hair and turns out she always envied my blonde curly hair. Go figure.
My hair is curly from behind my ears back and stick straight in front except for the cowlick. I blowdry most every day to straighten it, but give it a rest on weekends (and look like a fright or go to the ponytail). If I could get my hair to naturally look good without this fuss I'd be all over it.

Mane era, your new hairstyle looks fabulous! I know the feeling about being the only one in a family with wavy hair. I am also in that situation. My life became so much better when I accepted my hair and stopped trying to straighten it! The time savings alone has been astounding!
