Grey and red office look, glasses!

Here's today outfit. I'm pretty happy with it. Red boots (Aerosole), red studded belt (Fossil), new grey sweater (Calvin Klein), black dress pants. And I dug out my glasses (hard to see, but reddish)! Comments and pointers welcome!

Ooh, love it- very professional but still fun and stylish!

My only pointer would be to consider getting some fab flats to wear with those pants. It looks like they aren't PPL with the shoes you've got on here.

Thanks Louise! I like the simplicity of it. I feel like it could use a touch of something more. I tried a woven scarf, but my husband said it took away from the elegance of it. I don't believe he's ever called one of my outfits elegant!

Sorry, Kristine! PPL is a phrase that gets thrown around a lot here. I forget that some people might not be familiar with it!

They were hemmed by hand and not creased or faded, so I just snipped it out (and folded it the other way for a minute to smooth it out). I like the pants longer, it makes the boot toe less elongated also.

Great outfit- very polished and put together. I am wondering though about a wider belt. It might add just a tad more polish and mod to the outfit?

Wide belts scare me a little, but I'll try! It took me a while to get used to belting sweaters in general, but now it's one of my favorite tricks. Thankfully my co-worker no longer says "your belt isn't holding up anything".

Nice outfit Kristine! I like the longer pants. Maybe a pair of coloured chunky earrings would give the top half an extra bit of punch if you feel a scarf is too much?

I love the color/texture of your sweater, and you do look great belting the sweater. (I still haven't grown comfortable belting unless it's over a cardigan - I'm glad you are bolder!)
I do think you could also add a scarf at the neck - maybe tied cravat-style - without detracting too much from what you're wearing. Either way, that's a very sweet compliment from your husband.

You look great, and the longer pants are definitely the way to go. Another thing you could try is to add a white button-down shirt under the sweater, with collar and cuffs peeking out.
