the differences are subtle, but I can see them.... especially in the purple shirt.

I can see the difference very clearly in the green top. As a matter of fact, I think you look thinner in all the pictures since the bra lifts your bosom and we see more of your waist now.

Don't you feel amazing, Kim? It shocked me (I know, I know, it shouldn't have after Stacy & Clinton, Trinny & Susannah, AND Angie all said it would) how much that did for my self confidence. It did easily as much as losing 5-10 pounds does.
How was the experience?

Thanks girls.. it was great. The gal took me into the dressing room, measured under my bustine and said you are a 34... and declared me a DD by just looking. And she seemed to be right. She then kept bringing me more bras, adjusting straps, declaring this one and that not quite right.. and I came home with 3 new bras, one black and 2 nude (just cuz I couldn't decide between the 2

It is absolutely amazing what the right bra can do for your look, the way clothes fit, and your self-image. It wasn't until I was wearing a bra that fit that I realized I spent most of my adult life walking around with 'the girls' looking like an advert for a Nick Nolte movie sequel: Down and Out in Omaha.

Wow Kim, you look great! I can absolutely see the difference. Take a look at the front pictures of you in the turquoise t-shirt and see where your girls are compared to the bend of your elbow...you can definitely see the lift!

I did Linda's calculator and came out a 34C?? I've always been a 36 A or B. It said "don't be alarmed". Oh I'm alarmed all right.

Like Kristine, I tried Linda's calculator and it said 34D, but I have seen those hanging on the racks and there is no way I'd fill that out I guess I'll skip the virtual fitting and go for a real one. . .

Imagine how I felt to see DD come up as my size! I never in a million years would have thought I could fill out a DD... but here I sit. But yes, do go for a real fitting.'

You all cant even imagine how I've been strutting around here like some beauty queen with my newly shaped bosom haha

IKWYM MNsara and Kristine. I did the online calculator and it said 36D. Say what?! I wear 34C now. It's interesting that the calculator wants to boost my band size, whereas it seems to go the other way for most people. Hm.

Really, Maya, you are missing your calling!

I've had fittings done at Victoria Secret and Macy's and they both disappointed. Like Maya, I do not understand the 'add inches' recipe. I've consistently been measured at both stores as a 36C.

I did a quick google and we do have Intimacy here at one boutique. So I just might go see about a proper fitting.

You look great. Now I want to go for another fitting. I think we are supposed to go every year or so. Our bodies do change and bras wear out.
I bought a stretchy slip that has a bra attached.

I find this to be so comfortable because it doesn't have a band to cut into my ribs, so I've been wondering about soime sort of long line bra, sort of like this slip only cut off at the waist.

haha Maya- I didn't say a word and he hasn't either. I don't think it's that huge of a noticeable difference. He'll notice later the new bra though (ahem, or 3)

I was surprised at how snug the 34 felt at first... I'm sure that's why I was in a 38. snug= too small in my mind often. And as I was in denial of the fact that I could be bigger than a C, I had to have a 36 or 38 to get the things on
