My dad is in India now, and is having an outfit made for me. I don't wear Indian clothes much since I have no occasion, but when I saw this I loved it. Best of all, it will be custom tailored just for me. I wrote down my measurements, enclosed a picture, and that's that! My dad isn't very fabric-savvy so my aunt will be accompanying him to help choose fabrics and I trust her judgment totally.
I know India is known for color and glitz, but the lack of color and use of texture is actually what drew me to this design.

I probably will not be getting it for a long time, as it won't be finished by the time my dad leaves. My relatives will probably hang on to it until my mom's next visit. That means no pictures for a long time But as soon as I get some, I'll post.
