Do either of these pair suit me? I'm looking for a lighter weight pair with a shape that I don't already have, as the others I have are dark burgundy and brown, respectively. The burgundy pair are cat eye, while the brown pair are small and round. I have a face that is hard to find frames for...

The shape of #2 is better for your face and quite flattering. Eyes are centered, and the contour complements your brow line. Personally, I find the see through white perspex a bit flat. It can work well with a hint of colour though. Perhaps pink.

If I had to choose, I would pick #2, the shape works well with your face shape and structure. However, I don't think the clear frames suit your coloring. You have beautiful fair skin with dark features, you may need a bit of a color in the frames.

I agree that the shape of #2 is very nice and some color would be nice. Pink or purple?

Sadly, they come only in dark brown tortoise and this clear. I'd also prefer blue or pink!

Jenava I think #2 suits your face best. I have also tried clear frames but they are tricky.

I like the shape of 2 better on you also. And clear blush would be awesome if you can find it. You probably have a narrow face, too, right? It's hard to find narrow frames.

Another vote for #2. The shape is great on you. While the color is very pale, they might work when color is applied elsewhere on or near your face (lip color, eye color, jewelry).

Another vote for shape no. 2 on you. It's so hard to tell from a photo, but I agree with others on maybe a hint more colour. Specs are so difficult--and so expensive. One of the most challenging wardrobe purchases, I think.

Sorry to rain on your parade, I have tried them but I didn't find transparent glasses flatering at all. Love the shape of nr 2, but pls, do it in a color instead!!!

Another vote for shape of #2 but really want to have a color/medium tone frame to compare to it. I'm also drawn to clear frames but couldn't make it work. Keep us posted.

I also like the second shape better. But I definitely miss some color - I think you could definitely do a frame in a light color, but I'm not sure about the clear ones.

I would pick #2 as well, and rather like the idea of clear... but it's hard for me to imagine having clear frames unless one had a totally white minimalist closet.

#2 is also my pick!! And if you could get it in a blush color, I think it would look stunning on you. The clear is a bit flat and kind of disappears on you. Even if it was tinted blush, I think it be a bit more flattering and really show off your gorgeous creamy skin and dark hair!!

I think darker frames will be more flattering because of your great high-contrast coloring. Are you able to shoot some pics in a few variations in tone--from relatively little color, like the pink or blush, to darker, and get kind of an idea of how deep to go ? One idea I had once was to try on some reading glasses (not the very skinny ones ) just because it's easy to walk into a drugstore and do so and not have to be at the optical shop, and play with color.

Pair #2, for shape, I can't tell as much due to the angle of the shot. I wondered if they're too round, and suggest you try a few in slightly more squared shapes especially the brow (not actually square!). Also, not too big--not extending past the temple.
So, basically I'd try some more. I'm looking for that "glow factor" when the color, intensity and shape totally suit you. Easy for me to say!

Thanks, ladies, I'll keep looking. These are inexpensive. ..only 95 usd with lenses! But the color options are not good for me.
