Lyn -- I did not know there were bed sheets. Maybe there weren't any at the Targets I visited.
MaryK - I agree. The yellow bag keeps it from fading into the darkness blue green & white (snore!)
DianeG- I was totally inspired by several pins I've come across in the past few weeks. These women were wearing gingham, tartans, and plaids with pearls and "fancy" jewelry. I though these elements were very interesting counterpoints.
Angie - there has been plenty to smile about lately.
Karie - I adore J Crew pencil skirts. They are true to size and very very well made (get your self one -- or two -- this season if you don't already have any).
MsMaven -- I'm still laughing! I think that's exactly what I meant when I wrote the title because when I stopped to think about it the combination sounds ridiculous (for me). I appreciate your posting the corresponding picture!
Shevia - Yes whole heartedly MaryK is my sister from another mother
TraceyLiz - Yep, I thought about adding crocs to the title for a second but then I thought better. I felt like nobody would view my post with those ingredients listed (sounds horrible :-D!)
Suz -- you're exactly right. I would have never made the connection. You know I am a huge fan of the 50's. Interesting how creativity springs from what we love when we aren't even consciously aware of it.
Beth Ann - Answering your question honestly -- No. (Except when it came to Phillip Lim's collection ) I think if I constantly felt like what I had was better than what I tried on I'd never buy anything new. I think my approach is will this item add to what I have or will it fit in with what I already have.
