Wow! High five! What a spectacular week! You look ridiculously fab in each and every picture! Yes -- coral is truly a good friend to us blondes, isn't it? And a little makeup, too! Well done!

Super interesting! Thank you for sharing!

I work 1-2 days a week from home, and on campus the rest of the time. This year I decided to ditch the tracksuit at home. I must say I still generally wear leggings or sometimes jeans, and I love the way you have inserted the jersey skirt - what could be more comfy than that!

Great insights, and you really did look FAB all week

Great week of outfits, Diane, and terrific insights. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the project. It's inspiring to read that you felt good encountering the delivery woman in what you were wearing--what a small thing, and so surprisingly significant. One thing that I take away is that even on the days I don't feel like I'm especially stylish, if I'm putting on makeup and putting together an "outfit," rather than just grabbing something from the top of yesterday's pile of workout clothes, that's pretty darned good, right?
I think seeing so many neat outfits on YLF sometimes skews my thinking. Your work-at-home dressing project puts things in perspective for me. Not that your style isn't fab--it is of course!--but to see a project like this with rather modest expectations is refreshing.

Looks like successful experiment- great outfits and you felt better too!

Thanks for writing up your insights- as a fellow WFHM who struggles to wear something other than a t shirt every day, I found them all very helpful!
It was your experiment that prompted me to ask for advice about proper shoes/slippers as part of my WFH capsule.

I've enjoyed the daily update and picture too. Thanks for posting. I was thinking similar thoughts as Tulle about your lovely colouring but was nowhere near putting them so beautifully. Now I don't have to but will wholeheartedly agree.

Super read and fantastic observations Diane! I need to dress like this for the house .... Hmmm. I have upped my SAHM wear game ... From sweats with holes to jeggings and tees ... But nowhere close to your level of chicness. I might have to do a project like this

Sorry for bumping this a little late. I was out very early till very late yesterday and now I find I had extra replies to this thread

Thanks Denise! I know you can rock a coral tee, high five fellow coral lover!

Thanks Mary (and more coral love too :))

Thanks Lucy! Yes the skirt was super comfy.

Sharan, absolutely, just to have put an outfit together, rather than grab the nearest thing made a huge difference. As you say, modest expectations made it supremely do-able.

Thanks N-marie, I'm glad you found my project helpful. I too found it a big learning experience. Hope you get your slipper/shoes sorted.

Aww, thanks NZNicola

Thanks Neel!
