Has anyone tried these on:

I am wondering if they are true to size, and how they compare with other 1969 jeans. I want a narrow leg black jean to tuck into boots, but I don't want it too tight *everywhere* I was excited to see they were high-rise too.

I have not tried them on, but my solution when skinnies are overly skinny is just to size up. If the waist is then too big it's an easy tailoring job.

What ???? High rise Gap skinnies ? In black ? Yes, please. : )

I size up two sizes on my Gap skinnies and then have the waist taken in. But I don't like skinnies that could be a thick tight. That is just me.

Thanks, I just ordered them in two sizes in the long so they have some scrunch.

I agree with Isabel -- I think skinnies are actually more flattering when they're not plastered to your leg. I know the rule for skinnies sometimes seems to be
"If you can breathe with them on in your usual size, they fit," but I'll leave that look to the 18-year-olds (and even they would look better, to my eye, if they sized up).
