Gap B/F cords (look away, Angie), dressy sweatshirt and other K/R!

I went to the mall to get DS new pants, and you KNEW I was going to get the new Gap BF cords! Had some rewards to make them cheaper. They are quite stretchy and they have buttons instead of a zip (LOVE!). I may exchange for petite because the rolling is quite bulky.

And I found this F21 leopard blousey t-shirt which I adore - I need more things with black sleeves to minimize the shoulders! I figure I can wear it under jackets to work.

Also at F21 this silky houndtooth dress for $15 - it has the same shape as my leopard one from j. crew but is it awful? If so it can go back.

Also thrifted this navy American Eagle sweatshirt to try out the sweatshirt trend. I felt quite j. crew-model-ish in this getup so struck a j. crew-model-like pose.

Ignore shoes in ALL pix! Feedback appreciated!

Una unique! I ADORE #1, can't get enough of that color - is it like a neon coral? That sweater is marvelous. Me-OW!

The dress has a neat retro vibe. Not at all awful, just different - do you feel fab in it?

#3 - Great model pose! Made me chuckle. I think the sweatshirt looks cool juxtaposed with your beautiful leather skirt. Comfortably stylish.

Oh I really like the sweatshirt and skirt look. And the leopard shirt. I just can't see the cords well enough ( not sure if it is the picture or my eyes - the color is great but the roll looks bulky and I can't even see they are cords. And I happen to love that dress!

I absolutely adore the first and third outfits. LOVE both the cords and the shirt, and you do an awesome job of dressing up that sweatshirt (or dressing down the skirt?). I am not as fond of the dress. It's not that the dress is bad, but compared to the other two outfits it just doesn't shine as much.

I had to sign in to say that I love all 3. (or is that 4?) Anyway, I love the first outift!! I think the dress is great and looks a bit mod. How do you like it? I love it with your hair and think it would be fun with some funky boots! The last sweater is great, too.

As for the third outfit, LOVE!! The black skirt with the navy top, and the pearls are so unexpected for you but so fun.

LOVE the looks in #1 & 3 (and the pose is perfect, BTW) The cords look great on you, I'm kind of jealous, I wish I could pull off that color.

Not loving the dress on you. It's not bad, but it's not great either. It just seems kind of shapeless & you have a shape worth showing off

Suz, the pearls were hanging in front of me, and I thought they'd be fun with the sweatshirt. Again, that j. crew vibe but a little tongue-in-cheek, given that it's me wearing them!

Love #1 - both shirt and cords! (I'm a 70s corduroy lover - to me it's as familiar and comfortable as Dr Martens are to the next generation) Anyway - yes - try Petites too

#2 I thought looked just fine - can't remember the JCrew to compare but if you've already decided to return, then that's for the best.

#3 is FUN!

I'm not a big cord lover, but that first outfit is terrific on you! So fun!

The dress in #2 is hard to tell. I like that shape on you a lot, but the picture's blurry, and I think a lot depends on the quality of the fabric and how it feels on you. It sounds like you're not at all sure, so maybe it's not so good.

#3 looks great! Love your "J Crew model pose". What shoes will you wear with it?

I love that dress in #2. I would wear them with some red belt, red booties and opaque tights for fall.

I love all of these, big time! The looks are really fun and really suit you. But I have a small complaint. Can you not show us the real shoes you would wear? You often say ignore the shoes, but then it's hard to picture how you would finish the outfit off.

I love #1 and #3. The color of the cords is fab but I think you should try the petite to reduce the roll. As long as the rise isn't impacted too much, they could be easier to style. One question though. How will you wear them when it is too cold to have exposed ankle/calf?

I also really like the blue/black combo. Very nice and one of the hot color combos for fall. I think everything about that outfit is perfect.

Wow Una! #1 looks great! #2 I want:). I much prefer this to the snow leopard dress. I think I prefer the more geometric pattern here. And the sweatshirt looks amazing! I am not a fan of sweatshirts but you have me wanti f to try one now. Oh...love the pose:)
