FYI, J Crew has Periwinkle sweaters: Update

If anyone is interested J Crew's latest catalog and web update has several sweaters in light periwinkle. Several people mentioned that they would love to find items in that color recently when I wore my new periwinkle top. I ordered the chunky cashmere turtleneck. I hope it fits well! Happy shopping everyone! I tried to collect it, but for whatever reason I wasn't able to.

Thanks for the info! I love periwinkle - I have it as one of my contrasting eye colors in my "professionally, seasonally analyzed color swatches". Apparently contrasting colors to your eye color brings out the color of your eyes. FYI - my eye color is Yellow. Weird - right!?! I guess the technical color name would be "Amber". Nichole Richie has the same eye color. What is your contrasting eye color?

Golden- I'm a soft autumn and do have a swatch called "soft periwinkle" in my soft autumn swatchess but also have it as a contrasting eye color. The color analyzer person added swatches to the regular soft autumn palette for my eye color She said everyone looks good in their eye color and also their contrasting eye color. On the back of my eye color swatches list the contrasting color as "periwinkle".

I didn't get a contrasting eye color, but my eyes are a grey green. Periwinkle or a light purple would contrast with that right, since green is a mix of blue and yellow? The person who did my colors gave me a pale gray eye shadow and using it pulls away the gray and makes the green in my eye pop.

Stays fit, if your eyes are green I think the contrast color would be red or magenta since it is opposite on the color wheel? Periwinkle is opposite of gold....

My periwinkle sweaters arrived quickly! It turns out that the color was lighter than I expected and more purple. It's too dull. I don't have a picture to show right now because my phone is charging, but I called J Crew and they suggested that perhaps the color heather river would be better for me. I am returning the periwinkle and trying "heather river" instead. I like the collar and fit on the chunky turtleneck. Once my phone charges I'll try to take a pic.
