Faux Fur Vest from Kmart

So my outfit today could have definitely used a faux fur vest to complete, but the husband has me on a "shopping ban" for awhile. I am not very good with shopping bans... But I got a check back from VS for some stuff from my wedding shower I returned though so figure I am allowed to put the money towards something else : )

So I did some searching all over including ebay and decided this vest from Kmart looked the best for my tiny budget, using an online coupon got for about $15 plus shipping - hoping it doesn't look cheap in person!

I like it a lot, especially the color. Maybe I don't have a good eye, but I've yet to see a bad faux fur vest.

That looks great - the little stand up collar, soft looking fur, and neutral color -- you should end up with a fun faux fur vest for a good deal

Amy, I love the color of that faux fur and you found yourself a bargain. p.s. I thought of you when I shopped @ ON and got the black print 3/4 tab-sleeve top. Love it! I think you were wearing it with white shorts. Any other combos you can suggest? I hope, when I wash it, that I don't have to do too much ironing and maybe just a touch-up. I also scored with the two-button NY&C top of yours that I loved! Thanks for modeling them for me! I got mine in the off-white and red, which is an amazing red. I'll look at your pics any time, because they're very inspiring.

I did manage to find one that I think will work at H&M today for $30 so we'll give that a try and send this one back!

Doing errands, I stopped into a junior clothing shop and asked if they had any faux fur vests. Sales clerk looks at me, "Whaaa?" "FAKE fur," I say. She goes and asks. Manager shakes her head, looking uncertain. Next I ask clerk if they might have colored denim, any green? No, they definitely don't. She acts like no one ever asked about any of these before. I smile at her as I'm leaving and chide, "You guys are supposed to be way ahead of *me* on this!" She laughs. I'm 63.
